Once I-79 was completed, PA 285 was realigned to connect Cochranton with I-79 and US 19. The former alignment can be seen in the smaller map to the left. I-79 and US 19 intertwine with each other for nearly 300 miles, Exit 141 is another example of how close they run.
Traveling south on I-79, you'll come across an exit sign without a PA 285 shield.
