The intersection of Columbia Ave (US 6) and Center St (PA 426) is at the northern city limits of Corry.  There are "TO PA 77" signs at this intersection just like in Meadville on US 6.  PA 77's run from Meadville to Corry is about 6 miles shorter than US 6's trek through Saegertown, Cambridge Springs and Union City.
Although the signs at this junction were recently erected, many of them are off center, giving them an unique look.  US 6 East continues to Columbus and then Warren.
US 6 does not serve downtown Corry, but turning left on PA 426 South will take you through the city to PA 77 West on the other end of town.  The US 6 West shield below is found after the intersection.
After crossing US 6, PA 426 is only 5 miles from the New York state line.  It will become NY 426 and return as PA 426 before reaching the town of North East, PA.
After intersecting US 6, PA 426 South head for the Corry business district and PA 77 West along a shaded street.
