How can I influence a song's rating on LIVE365?

On the chart above, you can see a song's rating is determined by how you rank a song while it is being played on UU-BRU Internet Radio.  In addition to the information gathered above, total requests are averaged by listener hours.  The result determines the weekly chart ranking published every Saturday.

Why do some songs play twice within an hour, while others aren't?

Even though we control which songs are placed in heavy, medium and light rotation, Live365 rules mandate a "random" type of programming.  Unfortunately, some songs will play nearly back-to-back, but all songs in the current Top 50 should play at least once every 4 to 5 hours.

Why do some albums appear as unavailable when using the BUY option?

Live365 only uses albums that are available through Amazon.com.  Some albums are exclusively available at other retailers.  We can not insert any other information at this time.  However, clicking the BUY option still affects a song's ranking either way.

Is UU-BRU Internet Radio a "personal chart" or is it a "real station"?

It's true that UU-BRU Internet Radio began as a personal chart in 1978.  However, Live365 made it possible for the station to become a reality in 2004.  Through a permanent panel of six music enthusiasts, we decide which tracks to add to the playlist, usually between 100 and 115 songs.  A song's ranking on the chart is determined by the point system described above, as well as listener requests and other feedback amking it one of the few truly interactive stations on the Internet. The fact that you can listen to UU-BRU Internet Radio on Live365 anytime day or night, answers the second part of the question.
