Rush released to beat a version recorded by The Crystals, Lesley Gore's cover of "It's My Party", produced by Quincy Jones, cried all the way home to number one. Lesley Gore returned with a sequel to her torrid triangle with Johnny and Judy as "Judy's Turn To Cry" finished at number seven.
