Six years earlier, Peter Cetera was five points shy of having the top single of 1986, when "The Next Time I Fall" fell short of Whitney Houston. In 1992, he returned with one of the biggest hits ever on UU-BRU Radio Playlist. "Restless Heart" spent ten weeks in the top five before spending four weeks at number one. The follow-up, "Feels Like Heaven", a duet with Chaka Khan, reached number three in late December, making it the #30 single of the year. For the first time in seven years, the top act was not Madonna or Whitney Houston. Bruce Springsteen broke the seven year diva lock by scoring five top five singles in 1992. Although he had two singles hit number one ("Human Touch" and "Better Days") Springsteen's biggest hit of 1992, "57 Channels" peaked at number three. Garth Brooks continued scoring hits in 1992 with another pair of number one singles, "What She's Doing Now" and "The River". In a year dominated by male singers, Patty Smyth returned with "Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough", spending nine weeks at number one, the longest run of the year. Right Said Fred scored a pair of top twenty singles ("I'm Too Sexy" and "Don't Talk Just Kiss") earning top new act honors, scoring more points than runner-up Trey Lorenz. Top new act runner-up for 1991, Celine Dion captured top female act of 1992. Like Bruce Springsteen and Top ACt Overall, Celine Dion was the first woman other than Madonna or Whitney Houston to become top female artist on UU-BRU Radio Playlist since Cyndi Lauper in 1984.
