Tina Turner's comeback on the charts, that started in 1984, reached it's pinnacle in 1993 when "I Don't Wanna Fight" (co-written by 1960's British sensation Lulu "To Sir With Love") from her autobiographical film, What's Love Got To Do With It became the number one single of the year. While Tina Turner enjoyed having the top charting single of the year, Whitney Houston once again was the runner up, this time with "I Will Always Love You". Whitney also scored the number two single of the year in 1987 and 1988. Five of her songs from The Bodyguard reached number one on UU-BRU Radio Playlist. At one point in March, she claimed the top three singles of the week. Two weeks later, duets with Bobby Brown and Dionne Warwick reached the top ten, giving Whitney Houston five top ten hits at one time, the first act to claim five of the top ten singles in a given week on UU-BRU Radio Playlist. From the time "I WIll Always Love You" hit number one in late 1992, Whitney Houston ruled the top of the chart for 18 consecutive weeks with four different songs, "I'm Every Woman", "I Have Nothing" and "Something In Common". Roberta Flack debuted at number one in August with "Hold On To Love", a duet with Bill Chinnock. The single was never officially released, however it played several times on Guiding Light. The duo spent two weeks at the top and remained on the Top 40 throughout the rest of the year.
